Not Like Me

Black cardigan, Moda International. Plum shirt, NY & Co. Green tweed skirt, Talbot’s. Gray boots, White Mountain. Charm necklace, thrifted. Green velvet clutch, Maggi B.

This is so not like me. I usually drape my top in something swingy or cinch my waist. I rarely put on an outfit with this many vertical lines. I feel very Betty.

And now I’ll do something Trish and take pictures of myself jumping.

Can't say I'm a fan of the colour scheme but that skirt is fabulous and I like the look on you!

  3. I'm a very conservative, southern, male seminary student that doesn't know very much about fashion at all. I've never really cared for fashion. My typical outfit consists of jeans and a button up shirt. I stumbled across your blog one Sunday morning while trying to figure out if my tie matched my shirt. Ever since that day I look forward each evening to seeing "what that Kasmira's wearing today." I absolutely love your blog. I've sent some of my friends to see your site. You have a tasteful and vibrant personality. It's awesome to see someone have so much fun in something as simple as how they dress. I've learned quite a bit about colors, and have even impressed some of my female friends with my new-found fashion knowledge. Keep up the great work. We love you out here. All that being said, it was nice to see an outfit that was a little more simple...but you don't have to make a habit of it if you don't want to.

  5. kt - good luck! I bought this in Fall '06, so I doubt they carry it any longer. However, I'll bet you'll find SOMETHING you'll like. I can vouch for the quality of Talbot's skirts, too.
