Somewhat Normal

Cropped cardigan, No Boundaries. Dress, Ann Taylor. Peeptoes, Bitten. Clutch, Express. Rose ring, Forever 21. Clip-on earring (worn on sweater), thrifted.

I had to look somewhat normal today to co-facilitate a training course.

I’m still futzing around with my bangs – trying to decide if I like the length (and versatility) or if I want to cut them shorter.

  1. I always admire your bangs because they almost look like different lengths on different days depending on what you do with your hair. I can tell you, really short ones are cool if you want attention to your eyes. Though then the versatility is out the window. I speak from experience.

  2. How about a better shot of the shoes? ;)

I am a fan of the longer, sideswept bang. You can pull it back or tuck it smoothly off to the side for that retro look. Not a fan of the ultra-short bang - on me, it looks like Frankenstein's monster.

  3. I don't know about the bangs, but i like the outfit and love the shoes. You'd think gray shoes would be easy to find, but they're not!

  4. I have that ring in pink..didn't see it in green...please tell me you use a bigger bag on the side...most of the time you have cute small bags..and i just can't seem to do that...i've seen these clutches at express but can't seem to get one since i carry so much :)

  5. I love these colors together.
And I vote for bangs. I like you with a fun, choppy sweep bang.

  6. I generally carry a small bag. I only need to put my wallet, keys, lipstick, phone, and sunglasses in it. For work, I do carry a large tote to handle my papers and workout gear (and, sometimes, computer). With a clutch like this, I can tuck it inside the larger bag.
