Bowed

Dress, vintage, swapped, and shortened. Sweater, Moda International. Headband, Forever 21. Bangles, Body Central. Purple tights, We Love Colors (layered over a black Danskin pair). Maryjanes, Two Lips.

I always feel a bit gift wrapped with a bow at my neck.

  5. I love those shoes! I recently saw them in a store here, but I was able to refrain from purchasing them. It was difficult, but I was able to hold out.

    You look great!

  7. I actually have those shoes in black/gray in my "saved for later" queue on endless. How do you like them? Are they comfortable? I was afraid they might be a little tall for all-day wear.

I really like the bow styles on other people, but I can never pull something like that off! You look very cute though, I just love the outfit on you!

  10. Hi Kasmira,

I just started following your blog on Saturday. My niece and I googled "White Mountain gray suede boots" and your blog was one of the results. Don't you love random things like that?

Anyhow, I really like your blog and admire you energy and creativity with fashion. I am trying to do the same but don't usually feel up to it most days. To see you always give it your best shot and look so put together is very inspiring.

And I love seeing your thrifted finds, mix of colors and fabrics, and of course, shoes!

I'll be stopping by daily to check your outfits out and to get some ideas for my own :)

P.S. I love the idea of layering tights. I do it all the time, and not only is it warmer, you get cool color/texture effects, as you have been describing. Great idea!

  11. That dress is still my favorite item in your closet (those shoes are my second favorite!)!

  12. Vanessa - they are comfortable. I actually find them more comfortable without tights, because my feet tend to slide towards the end (to smash my toes) with slippery tights on.

  13. Love the bow! and the different color combo!

  14. Why the layered tights?

  15. Angie - it's cold! And the black pair beneath the purple makes them totally opaque.
