Fracas, Revisited

Blazer and trousers, Forever 21. Blouse, Bebe (altered by me). Lace-up pumps, Isaac Mizrahi for Target. Clutch, thrifted. Cameo necklace, shopgoodwill.com.

I like white flower perfumes. I’m absolutely gaga for tuberose. My favorite tuberose scent is Michael by Michael Kors, but Fracas is second. Not only is the perfume divine, but the bottle itself is so chic. I like to dress to match it.

Some prior Fracas-esque outfits:

funny that you dress to match your scent -- i am on the tail-end of a collection of color-coded perfumes that i love, and i usually wear the color of perfume that matches my outfit!

  2. I like the pink long-sleeve ruffles under the other shirt, with the white part showing. The way you have your hair up with the glasses gives you that 'sexy librarian' look, which I am quite fond of!!

  8. Eric and Jill - I have the BBW Tuberose perfume, too. If you like that, you'll LOVE Michael! The BBW perfume is like a pale imitation of Michael by Michael Kors. The real thing will blow you away.

  9. Today a perfume bottle inspired you and your blog inspired me. I'm going to copy some of your outfits. They are adorable on you and I hope they look half as nice on me. Thank you!

  10. Kasmira - I'm a Brit lady who will be emigrating to the States this year to join my American hubby. It was actually my hubby who introduced me to your blog as he said I had a similar look and build to you! :-) I have to say, you are an insipration to me and I LOVE the outfits your wear! I look in on your blog most days and as another keen supporter of buying good quality thrift store clothes I find your ideas for mixing and matching truly excellent! Keep up the good work! :-D

  11. Great color combinations with perfect proportions! I've been a fan, too. I am wondering if there is any item in your wardrobe you don't ever wear? Are there certain items you have a hard time to match with anything? I love your ability to mix and match seemingly random items to create a great number of variations from many of the same items.

  14. maria - I'm pretty ruthless with my wardrobe. If something is hard to work with or I just get tired if it, I swap it away.
