Can't Leave Well Enough Alone

Jacket, Forever 21 (embellished). Blouse, Bebe (reconstructed). Skirt, G.J. Forbes (thrifted and shortened). Pumps, Mossimo. Earrings, Girlshop.com. Necklace, Body Central.

It had to happen eventually. Everything I’m wearing (excluding accessories) has been altered in some way:
- I added ball trim to the jacket.
- The skirt was shortened.
- I cut the neckline off this blouse and replaced it with a collar I snipped from another shirt.

  3. I have a habit of altering just about everything I own in some way too. It means that no one else will ever be wearing the exact same thing as you :)

  4. I'm so impressed by your sewing skills! I really want to learn to sew, just so I can take care of some basic tasks around the house like hemming curtains and fixing zippers on pillow cases. But I digress.

I think it's really neat how you've made some alteration to each article of clothing! It really makes it 'your' outfit.

  10. Congratulations on sporting three modified items at once! I tweak so many of my garments in some way that I'd be hard-pressed to go a day without wearing something that I hadn't tweaked. It's awesome what a difference even small changes can make.
