Basterds
I wore this to see Inglourious Basterds. Tights and boots may seem like an overkill in August. But it was cool outside and I was one of the few people not freezing my ass off in the theater.

Being south of the equator I am presently living in boots and tights and *still* loving it!

ReplyDeleteI've been looking forward to tights and boots weather since the Nordstrom sale the first weekend of August when I *finally* found a pair of knee boots that I a) loved and b) could get over my fat calves. So excited!

Fall is my all-time favorite time of year. The boots, the tights, the layering, I love it all and can't wait, although summer did start uber late here on the East Coast, I'm totally looking forward to all that Fall has to offer.
ReplyDeleteI am literally counting the days. I noted last year that September 15th was the first day I wore long sleeves to work, so I'm counting on that for three weeks from today. Also, I scored a pair of Ugg-like Sketcher boots at the thrift store today for $2 - how stoked am I!?!
ReplyDeleteI'm CRAVING fall this year! I've recently moved to the Houston area and think I'm going to be sorely disappointed. Glad to see you rocking the boots and tights...maybe I'll pull my boots out and Houston humidity be damned!

Love the outfit, especially the tights (I am a HUGE fan of crazy tights and wish I could own dozens of pairs). I have to say, even though it's been a short and very strange summer in NY, I'm kind of getting that "I wouldn't mind fall to come along so I can wear boots, tights and large wrap-around sweaters" kinda feeling recently. That, and I really wanna go skiing! PS. your legs look really great in this outfit! -Krissie
