Cotton

As the heat and mugginess continues in Cincinnati, I’m starting to regret every bit of synthetic clothing I own. Cotton is the way to go.

Hat, Charlotte Russe. Dress, Faded Glory. Earrings, Monica D. Sandals, Mossimo. Cuff, Urban Outfitters.

  1. Love that dress! It's a great cut and seems perfect for a hot summer day. Those sandals are such a gorgeous color too!

  10. I'm also regretting every item of clothing with sleeves. It irritates me to have my armpits covered in heat like this. I feel all squirmy!

You made what could be a really dated-looking dress look very cute!

  11. When it is super gross and I see people wearing layers outside, no matter how cute their looks, they look a bit silly, like teenagers trying to be cool. Your dress is the antidote to that--cotton, simple, revved up with non-heat inducing elements that show your style without looking like you are a slave to fashion. Ultra nice. Love the way you show how high end the low end can look.
