On Going from Blond to Red

It’s been four months since I returned to red (from platinum blond). Changes like that are hard on your hair! My ends are still a little crispy and refuse to hold the red dye. Ah well. I think of the stiff, pale tips as “textured” and “highlighted.”

On to the outfit:

Cardigan, The Limited. Tank, George. Skirt, Talbot’s. Shoes, Pulse. Earrings, Target. Bag, Franco Sarto.

  1. Your expression in that last photo with the shoes is just PRICELESS!

I really love this color combo. The lacy top and the hem of the skirt are so pretty, too. Gorgeous, as always!

  2. I like your hair in this style. Very chic.

I LOVE this outfit! I might have to borrow this look (as I have the same skirt in orange). Those pink shoes are so fun! I like the way the heel scoops in at the back.

  12. I can't believe that tank is George - does that mean you found it at Walmart or is there another George I'm confusing it with? Because while I do get things there from time to time, I've NEVER seen anything that looks that good in both appearance and quality. Your shopping prowess impresses me as much as all of your other talents.

  13. You look seriously slender in these photos!
Love the outfit, and how it's enlivened by the warm-toned hair/shoe 'bookends'.
I think the red hair looks quite nice on you. (and you really can't see the crispy ends at all... they look right healthy, honest!)

  14. Kim - yes the tank is George from Walmart. Every once in a while, I find something nice and appropriate from work at Walmart. To the Max is probably the most reliably good house brand they carry.

I'd really love your comments, your clothes show a sense of fun that I'd like to adapt for my job.
