Bright Stripes

Given my love of pattern mixing, it was only a matter of time before I wore two striped tops at once. The bright tartan scarf was the cherry on top of my stripey confection.

Scarf, gift. Cardigan, Old Navy. Turtleneck, Gap (swap). Jeans, Dollhouse (dyed black again this morning). Boots, Dan Post.

  2. I.LOVE.THIS.LOOK. Seriously. I think I might have to copy you. 'Cept it might take a little creativity, seeing as how I don't own these clothes exactly. Hmmmm... I'll figure something out. You are adorable! Love the lipstick with it all, too. Perfect touch.

p.s. I just started a little OOTD fashion blog a few weeks ago... I'd really love it if you came by and gave me your feedback (for better or worse--I'm not afraid! Just love honesty). I love your style and would seriously appreciate it. http://adayinlifetoo.blogspot.com But, either way, have a great week!

  3. I just discovered your blog from an interview you did with Reva from Reva's Rags to Roses. OMG! YOU rock. This last two post have me seriously swoooooning! I had those purple suede booties but sold them (too small) so now I can enjoy on you! Nice to meet you! PS I can't even fathom how anyone could disparage your outfits or style: you are amazing! xo. -Bella Q

Kasmira - Happy Holidays! I love the mixture of stripes. Its kind of preppy in a Tommy Hifiger way.

Also, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you for your blog. You have inspired me to take a few more risks with what I wear and how I mix patterns and colors. I especially love the article you wrote about dressing for work.

You go girl! And please, keep it coming.
