Short Winter Shorts

If one wears shorts in the winter, will the winter be short? I’m hoping so.

I love the outfit, but especially the style of these photos. They feel somehow more relaxed, and yet a little 'arty' too!

  3. Love those tights with the shorts. I hope your shorts in the winter work on making the winter short.

  5. I must be getting old because even though I think you look great, I'm partially worried that you'll catch a cold without a coat! Love the look of the red tights under the open-weave leggings.

  7. I wore shorts with tights on Friday, but I didn't think that one through clearly. It was -10 with windchill in Cleveland and I had to trek across my university's campus to get to class. Mistake. I couldn't feel my thighs by the end of the day, but I looked damn cute.

  9. Jules - don't worry, I was only coatless for the photos. As soon as we were done, I put my scarf, gloves, and down coat back on!

  10. I love those shorts! They look like they provide more coverage than the shorties I tried on at Express. *plans to visit The Limited* And your final T/O outfit is lovely. Possibly my favorite.
Also, I think I can still work this look (Folks, I'm a wee bit older that Kasmira. Okay, a LOT bit). Now, denim shorts and tights might be beyond me... ah, advancing age, you RUIN my fashion fun!

  14. I have seen a lot of people in shorts, and tights but this is one of my favorites. It seems like everyone else pairs black shorts, with black tights.

Such a cute outfit!! Where are those red doors?? My husband and I lived in Cincinnati in 1995 and 1996 on Cleinview and Madison and I could swear those doors look familiar - either a church or the fire station across the street. Am I right? It's really bugging me. Anyway, we live in San Diego now, but I do miss many things about Cincinnati!

  18. The doors belong to a church at the corner of Hamilton and Belmont, in College Hill. I have noticed that many buildings in this area have similar, lovely doors!
