Animal on Animal

I love using the phrase “animal on animal” to describe animal print mixing. I’m wearing a dogpile of animal today: elephant, fish, tiger, peacock, and leopard.

Cardigan, New York & Co. Dress, I Heart Ronson. Necklaces, consignment and thrifted. Shoes, Antonio Melani. Bag, Mossimo. Belt, Sugadaminka.

It’s a bit hard to see, but one of the necklaces features fish, the other, elephants.

I credit “animal on animal” to Sybil’s comment on Song of the Exile’s Beauty is a Beast.

  2. The pattern mixing is working really well in this outfit. That bag is too perfect. It looks like you could carry anything in it.

  3. You always rock a pelt mix so well, I would look like my dotty old Aunt Virginia. Love that dress.

  5. Ooh, love the leopard belt. You know I can't resist TEH LEPPERD.

And I totally just got the "dogpile" joke. Ha!
