Happy Hour

After a Happy (two!) Hour(s) with Londyn, I headed home to take pictures during the happy (golden) hour between 8 and 9 p.m. Unfortunately, it was also the mosquitoes’ happy (feeding) hour.

Dress, Lipstick. Vest, Express (thrifted). Belt, thrifted. Bag, Charming Charlie. Shoes, Gianni Bini. Earrings, vintage.

I have to be honest and tell you that I have always sincerely disliked this dress - it's not my kind of thing AT ALL. (It looks great on you.) But I hugely admire all the different ways you've used it, and I think this is one of the better ones, with that terrific vest.

  3. LOL, thanks for braving those mosquitoes to bring us these pics.
You look great in this outfit. I like the vest over this dress, too.

How interesting...I was just going to say I've always LOVED this dress, even more so when your hair is this color. :)

  5. I really like the Missoni-ish-ness of the fabric of this dress.

  7. I love, love, love, this dress! The pattern reminds me of a dress my grandmother wore back in the early 1930s. I also love how you paired it with neutral shoes; I would have been tempted to go with a color, but the neutral, for some reason, really sends me over the top on this one.
