Busted

I think the Cincinnati PD is monitoring my twitter account. At about 5 pm, I tweeted that Beefy and I would be taking outfit pictures at an abandoned warehouse. Minutes after we arrived on location, the police showed up.

Dress, Studio I. Scarf, vintage. Shoes, Charles David. Bracelets, Claire’s and Deb. Bag, vintage. Necklace, Target. Sunglasses, Betsey Johnson.

Once the officers confirmed that we were merely taking pictures outside, not breaking and entering, they departed. Although the visit added a little excitement to my day, I’ll be sure to refrain from tweeting my potentially illegal plans until afterward, next time.

Seriously, though, I'm no criminal. And I was impressed with the response time. From the looks of things, this location is popular with graffitists.

I was framed! I swear!

  1. Well at least it added to the excitement of your day. I'm surprised you can get that close to the warehouse. All the empty ones here are cordoned off with chainlink fences.

  2. Whoops! I guess that's why I don't tend to shoot on location. Love the necklace with that red dress. At least they let you finish shooting!

  3. Ohh, they should have been part of the photoshoot!

I love the brightness of your dress!

  4. LOL, you do live on the edge.
That red dress is beautiful on you and what a great necklace.

Whoa! This is an amazing look. You certainly know how to rock the red, girlfriend.

And I gotta say, I'm weak for that bag and those shoes. They look better each time I see them. Those shoes. Lesser women would pass them by...

Still, I gotta mention... Lord knows I love Beefy, and he's got mad skillz. BUT: he gave you a B-side or outtake for the cover shot. Even the blind know that last shot-- with the over the shoulder glance-- that's the money shot. And you know how we cling on every post. You ought to release an "extended mix" for the fans. I'm just sayin'.

    Peace out.

  7. It's not the first time I've heard of a blogger getting the cops called on them. Be careful next time :)

  10. Bigger question: Why do the cops have bikes on the back of their car? Are they paying homage to the Tour de France?

  11. I've seen bike-mounted police often in Cincy. Maybe they swap out the bikes for the car to save gas? It was a little hot for biking this day, though.

  12. I just want everyone to know that I have absolutely no say in the photo selection process. I am merely the photographer. I usually don't even see them until they're on the blog. Ms. Kasmira runs a tight ship.
