Buh-Bye Blazer

Today, I was told that I should have turned the yard sprinklers back on weeks ago. If it’s already time to start watering the lawn, there can’t be many wool-blazer-wearing days left this season.

Blazer, J Crew. Dress, London Times. Shoes, Prabal Gurung for Target. Sunglasses, Girl Props. Rings, vintage, gift, and heirloom. Bracelets, Target, Claire’s, and Tala’s Distant Treasures. Belt, Mimi di N (thrifted).

  1. If it's a nice thin wool, your blazer should be fine in warmer weather - wool breathes really well. My black boyfriend blazer is wool and I wore it for July in a 30-item capsule last year.

It's too cute to put away, anyway!

Guess I'm a shoe person - I LOVE LOVE LOVE those shoes! But the whole outfit is adorable, the colors are great and your new-ish haircut really suits you.

  6. You can keep it going for most of the year! As a southern CA native, you could probably get away with it on all but the hottest summer days. Blue dress while outside, and running around, add awesome orange blazer when inside a chilly air-conditioned office. You'll be set.

I really wanted the Target look-alike blazer some months ago, but I just couldn't will it to be flattering. Oh well.

  7. Amazing combination love those colours and the dress is beautiful. You'd be cold in that over in England, we have snow still, in spring! How does the puppy and your kitties get on?

    1. The puppy has a healthy respect for the kitties. I think he and Syd will become friends. He chases Walt and Roy. And he is terrified of Sam and Zoro
