And to answer your questions: He’s a border collie. We chose the breed because I want a running and hiking companion. We chose a herding dog and a puppy to minimize problems with the cats. Jasper and the cats are getting along far better than I would ever have imagined. He is very smart and has not eliminated indoors (yet)!

Excellent excellent hair! Also hello puppy! He's such a cutie muffin. I'm glad he's getting along well with the cats, hopefully they'll all be fast friends, or at least tolerate one another.

I have 5 cats at my house with a border collie/heeler mix (and an American bulldog). They don't love each other, but they get along just fine. He is adorable! And your hair looks great too.

Border Collies are awesome...beware he may try to herd you when you run! :) But they are tireless, loyal, and smarter than most people. And beautiful too! You will love him and he will keep you on your toes.
