Seeking Shade

I’ve gotten pretty good at taking pictures in Sacramento’s ever-present sunshine. Today, though, I couldn’t stand the thought of sweating in the sun as I leaned over the camera, squinting at the view finder and then reviewing photos for exposure and composition. I headed for the only surefire shade: under an overpass.

    1. Thanks! I'd forgotten how much I like wearing scarves in short hair.

That scarf does look great in your hair!

Any tips for keeping them from moving? Everytime I try, they end up all over the place - don't know if it's because I'm a curly or just scarf inept.

    1. I think it really depends on the shape of your head. I find that mine stays best if the front of it actually covers my ears a liittle bit. Short hair also helps because there's no hair at the back of my neck pushing the scarf away

Lovely outfit and pics! Love the scarf! I can't figure out how to wear them in my hair either! They always slide right off! You look very glamorous tho, with yours and those sunglasses!

    1. The pants are looking green, but that's just because they are so shiny and reflecting green light. They are a silvery gray silk.

  6. I love, love, love this outfit. The top is the perfect foil for the pants and the scarf is delightful

  7. I love those pants! Even if the green is just reflected light! They look so sophisticated... and comfy!
