The Patented Purse Swing

Do you know how hard it was not to use a lead photo of me fake walking to the side and swinging my purse behind me? Every style blogger has their go-to poses. The patented purse swing is one of mine.

The below pose is another favorite. It’s the “Oh, hey, favorite person! You snuck up behind me as I was headed in the other direction!”

Sweater, The Limited. Blouse, Forever 21. Skirt, Peppermint. Shoes, Steven by Steve Madden. Sunglasses, Betsey Johnson. Earrings, Claire’s. Bag, Vieta.

And this post wouldn’t be completed without at least a couple shots of the patented purse swing:

Now that’s done, here’s the “bag and shoes” and “headless Kasmira” pics:

. . . and I’m spent.

  2. Perfectly pretty. I'm especially liking this top! Is it a recent purchase? (I'd like it for myself :) )

    1. Very tricky shoes. The heel height and style is comfy, but the upper is stiff and rubs.

  4. I SO know what you mean about preferred poses! As much as I *try* to change things up, the best shots always seem to be the same style...
