Thankfully, I haven’t seen a cockroach in over 10 years. I think my cats keep them at bay (or they just aren’t common in Cincinnati or Sacramento).

My husband used to call my 90's extra long pointy toe heels corner cockroach killers. I occasionally see a pair of those kind of shoes at the thrift and I wonder what was I thinking. They are very Wicked Witch of the West. LOL

My granddad called pointy toes "winkle pickers" (a winkle is a snail). I have never seen a live cockroach!
