Too Warm

Pink cropped cardigan, Moda International. Black turtleneck sweater, Charlotte Russe. Gray flannel pants, Express. Black pumps, Bandolino. Opal earrings.

I am burning up! I’m usually a cold person, but not today. Two sweaters, thick flannel pants, and a wool coat had me sweating as I made the hike from my car to the office. We are having some of our usual weird December weather in Cincinnati; it’s in the mid-40s.

Hello. I absolutely love your blog. You have great style. I was looking for similar grey pants. But I was wondering: wide leg trousers or not? What do you think?

  3. Hi Roxana - my favorite leg cut is straight leg, so that the width from the thigh to the hem is the same or close to the same. I think it is the most classic look.

    Kasmira,

Again, you inspire me. I have begun to really think of how I create my outfits each day.

Love, love, love the sweater with the collar detail. Also, like the close up of earring detail. I am thinking of doing my own blog for plus-size women in '08 as a result of your inspiration.

I love the red cardigan. It looks like it little satin pleated trim. Very elegant and christmasy!

  7. I was curious to see if you could give me some advice! I have this grey sweater dress. It's sleeveless turtle neck sweater and it has a cable pattern on the top half of it in the front. It's about knee length, but it's cold out! I was just wondering if you had any brilliant ideas of what I could pair it with to look cute and stay warm at the same time! jenzjewelz@gmail.com

    Thanks!!

The bolero is the sweetest thing! It suits you so well, and the colour really livens up the outfit :)

  10. Love, love, love the cardigan! Very romantic, like a capelet. It's also very flattering with the black as a background.
