Dress, Ann Taylor. Denim jacket and rose ring, Forever 21. Slip (visible at neckline), thrifted. Nude fishnet tights, Simply Vera by Vera Wang. Scarf, souvenir from my time in the chorus of Fiddler on the Roof. Bird medallion, Xhilaration. Pumps, Bandolino. Clutch, Apt 9.
These are some of my favorite accessories. The clutch is newest. I got it at Kohl’s last weekend with my $25 gift card. (The bag was $26.)
Nude fishnet tights comment/question: I have to first admit that I was one of the nay-sayers on the fishnet topic awhile back. But since it's now warm out, I'm debating: would they be appropriate with dress flats and a skirt for work? In the pictures, you can never tell that you have anything on your legs. I refuse to go back to panty hose; fashion has me convinced that they are passe. However, I don't always like to go bare-legged; office air conditioning dictates wardrobe choices. Conundrum.
Aunt Tati - Thanks! I'm honored. I've got you on my RSS feeder. I need to update my blogroll too!
Anon #2 - I'll have to ask Julie if she'd like to be featured again!
Anon #3 - Nude fishnets are the bomb! They are not overtly sexy and make your legs look smooth and unblemished. They are cool enough for summer, but provide a little protection against air conditioning too.
very cute color combo! i think the necklace AND the scarf are a little bit of overkill for the neckline - usually it's a one or the other thing. since the necklace isn't too ostentatious, it's not so bad. but still, i'd stick with just the scarf for the bold look.
like coco chanel said, remove one accessory before leaving the house. i think this rule may have come in handy today
That ring is so cute!
ReplyDeleteLovely necklace~
ReplyDeleteOh the rose ring is adorable!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I added you on my blogroll, hope it's ok?

I love my nude fishnets. I've been wearing them for years-- I REALLY love the nude microfishnets.
ReplyDeleteAnd Anon, I will be posing again. :)
I love the birdie necklace and green ring!
