Cardigan, Moda International. Silk cami (visible at neckline), Mossimo. Floral dress, Body Central (borrowed from Londyn). Leaf necklace, Urban Outfitters. Fake croc bag, Wilson’s Leather. Slingbacks, Audrey Brooke.
This is another dress that looks better on Londyn than me. While I adore empire waists, the waistband has to hit in just the right place or one looks pregnant. On my shorter torso, the smocking extends a bit too low and gives me a belly bulge.
I so agree about empire waists. Man, I wore those things to DEATH in high school. When I had a little more junk in the trunk, and they were a godsend. But now? Somehow, they make me look like I might be smuggling a watermelon ...
I like the cardi look with this, but the sweet florals are too happy to be paired with black. I know you like green and pink...why not try a green sweater and nude heels next time?
I really love the blue bag with this dress. It makes the little blue flowers stand out a bit more. It's great how the blue bag stands out, but then surprise! It matches!
I think it's great how both you and Londyn put an individual spin on your styles! You both look fab in the dress - be happy as you are because you've got nothing to worry about with your shape - it makes me a little sad when people compare themselves unfavourably with other people. Keep up the good work style wise.
of course they'll be jealous of each other and openly admit it. they're too vain not to! who else takes a million pics of themselves daily?! clothes are fun and all but find time for more meaningful activities, girls! leave this to the magazines! i'm a done blog viewer.
from another anon, this time nicer: “You’re considered superficial and silly if you’re interested in fashion. But I think you can be substantial and still be interested in frivolity.”-Sofia Coppola So you can be interested in fashion, just make sure taking pics and documenting your outfits everyday doesn't take away from more substantial activities!
I think that you look very pretty in the outfit. And so that I will not get in trouble with you husband here, I will sum up my thoughts by simply saying "Librarian Fantasy"!
I think you look adorable in my dresses -- I had never even considered covering that dress up and wearing it to work!
ReplyDeleteI think it is also too funny and too cute that we are both jealous of each other!!! silly girls :)

ReplyDeleteSassy Librarian look today. :)
ReplyDeletePretty floral pattern....and I think you both look great in the dress.
I think it's funny too that you are each jealous of the other, while you are both so young and beautiful. Don't waste a minute on envy, be happy!
ReplyDeleteYou are both gorgeous and your sweetness shines through in your faces and your words.
