Dotty

Blouse, Forever 21. Vest, NY & Co. Skirt, Side x Side (thrifted and altered). Peeptoes, Delicious. Beaded bracelet, Bitten. Gold tone bracelet, swap.

If I was the Wicked Witch of Some Cardinal Direction on Friday, then I suppose I’m Dorothy today. See? I’ve got my “ruby slippers” on. What? The rest of my outfit doesn’t look like Dorothy’s? Well, the nickname for Dorothy is Dotty, so polka dots (and freckles) seem appropriate. Hmm….still not convinced that I’m Dorothy Gale? Keep scrolling down…

Here I am skipping through the Land of Oz. Tra-la-la-la-la. (Toto-Sammy isn’t in the picture because he wouldn’t stay in the @#$%! basket.)

Oh, no! Flying monkeys! The horror!

We are dead. (Everyone knows that your tongue protrudes when you’re dead.)

The end.

Well, if I’m not Dorothy, I’m certainly dotty.

  7. Not only do I love this outfit, I needed a good laugh in the middle of a poopy day. The picture of being scared of the flying monkeys is the best.

  13. So, I just had to share...my grandmother (yet another Cincinnati lady) had a saying, that I still embrace today..."You can never have a bad day when you're wearing red shoes!". If I ever think a day is going to bite it, I wear red shoes.
