Or maybe I just hate THESE pants. Or maybe just THESE pants on ME. I’m currently too plump to be comfortable in them. I’m glad I had time to change my clothes (and retake my picture) before I left the house this morning. Otherwise, I would have been hating my pants all day.
I flipped the lead picture so that I could give my pants the stink eye.
looking chic sweetie.i like the pumps!

I hate pants too!~
ReplyDeleteI'm unhappy all day when I wear them.
And I like this look better with the skirt. ;) Of course.
XOXO
I am with you on not wearing pants....I don't have too many but living in cold climate it's a must have unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteOkay this does look better with the skirt, I will agree with you on that, but I think it's more because the skirt is closer in hue to the jacket than the pants were.
ReplyDeleteI have to take issue with something you said though: too plump to wear pants?! Woman, you have a fantastic figure and you look great in those pants. Maybe they feel a little tight on you, in which case I understand what you mean, but please don't be implying that you're not skinny enough to wear something. That is what is wrong with women's body images these days!
You're too plump to wear pants? Plump? I don't think so sweetie :-)
ReplyDeleteI meant that my body doesn't currently fit well in THESE particular pants. They are too tight. I should just get rid of them.
ReplyDeleteYou are NOT plump! :) You have a fantastic figure.
ReplyDeleteI think she knows she's not plump, but we all have clothing items that just don't fit right anymore, regardless of our size and they make us uncomfortable.
ReplyDeletei think those pants LOOK great on you, but if you arent physically comfortable in them, what's the point? besides, with the skirt, we got the awesome pink pumps! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not even going to go into the whole "plump" thing, as everyone else has covered that.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't like those pants at all - they are a big bowl of oatmeal-coloured suck. Get rid of them. :)
You need a neutral pant that's a bit darker brown (in a toning plaid or a herringbone for playing with texture) - it will go better with the lighter jacket.
I don't know about everyone else, but if I end up going to work with bad hair or an outfit I don't really like, my whole day is ruined and it's all I can think about. Maybe that makes me shallow.
ReplyDeleteAnd, as an aside, "plump" is a great, onomatopoeic word!
Great call - the skirt and pink shoes make a big difference AND you feel comfortable!
ReplyDeleteAnd you look so slim in the skirt. It's really true that clothes that fit well keep us looking thinnist, but go too tight and yuck.
ReplyDeletei prefer you in the skirt and i love the pink shoes.
