I can’t believe it’s been two years. I never thought this project would go on this long – or that I’d be able to come up with a different outfit each work day. In fact, I never intended to avoid repetition at all. That just sort of happened along the way. The exception to the rule is my blogoversary, on which I wear the inaugural ensemble. I’m curious as to how many years it will continue to be wearable. I did have to replace the shoes last year.
2006, 2007, and 2008
Thanks to all of you who visit and leave kind comments. I get three times the number of clicks per day that I had a year ago, and I have no idea how many of you are viewing through a reader. (I read all my blogs through Google Reader, myself!) I am also inspired by the similar blogs many of my readers maintain. Who knew wardrobe blogs would become a phenomenon? (WAY better than the “what I ate for lunch today” bunch, if you ask me.)
Stay tuned for recaps of the outfits you loved, and those you loathed, along with some other Year Two highlights.
Congrats on your blogoversary Kasmira! I read your blog every day through Google Reader as well. I love your outfit combinations and you have inspired me more than once.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteYou got new pillows on your window seat. That's about the only difference I can spot from 2007 to 2008.
Here's to another great year!
Kudos on finding something youthful to wear at Talbots! Very cute outfit!
ReplyDeletehappy blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit, and congrats on two years!! I love your blog. :)

ReplyDeletehey kasmira,
ReplyDeletefirst, congrats!
second, i dont know if you know- but you can go on google reader and click "show details" to see how many subscribers you have!

You look better with each passing year! Even in the same outfit.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your blog for over a year now and you have inspired many of my daily outfits-Thanks.
I have never looked better in my photos thanks to your posing techinques!
Congrats!
Mimi
Happy 2nd blogoversary, and thanks for the wardrobe inspiration! BTW, love love love your hair in that picture.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Kasmira! You're a real inspiration to us all.
ReplyDeleteI found you a few months ago from a random comment on a totally unrelated blog and have become hooked, even though I am a very "unlikely" reader, or at least atypical. I don't think much about what I wear at all. I live in a very small town in Idaho and really, several pairs of jeans and a few shirts is it for me! (Although I also dressed this way when I lived in larger areas, come to think of it.)
ReplyDeleteBut I live vicariously through you each morning and maybe, maybe... one day I'll step it up a bit. :) You make it seem fun, and your personality really shines through your clothes and your blogging about them.
Congrats on two years!
I can't remember how I found your blog, but it's been over a year since I started reading and now it's a part of my online routine every day!
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally credit you for not only inspiring me to dress better, but also to clean out my closet (and maintain it), step up the thrifting and just try to look better in general. Thank you and never stop!
Im new to your sight and love it. I check everyday to see what you are wearing, and now found myself using more colors. I think you dress sooo cute. I have always loved thrift stores, and now spend more time putting together different outfits. Thanks, Vickie
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteI think that outfit would rank in the top 25 I'd say! Always a fun read. Coming from someone who thinks mixing it up means changing my undershirt from grey to blue under my same 5 shirts I wear - I too am impressed with all the outfit choices.

I accidentally fell into your blog when I was looking for cute haircuts :) And now I'm one of those Google Reader readers.
ReplyDeleteYou have great style, and its fun to see how you mix and match, and find great deals.
Here's to many more years!
Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of your blog and I have to confess I've copied some of your ideas and got very positive comments of the outfits ^_^
That outfit looks better and better each time. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats (and thanks) for keeping up with this for so long. It's my bit of happiness each day...
Button as a cute.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversary. As a year long lurker, I figure today is an auspicious enough occasion for me to pop my head up and say hello. Todays outfit is one of my favourites. These colours are my go to colours at the moment so if you decide that this outfit won't last another year, please feel free to send it to Australia where I will wear it with great pleasure! I already have the perfect pair of shoes to accompany it. Thanks for all the inspiration you've unknowingly given me over the past year or so, too. You've encouraged me to try some combinations I never would have thought of on my own.
ReplyDeleteCongratulation! Green and green - I like it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary. I love this outfit on you. You're right we're much better than the What I ate for lunch crowd. Do people really blog about that? Now I have to go google it!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy I stumbled across your blog! I have found such inspiration from your outfits! And I too read your blog through a reader.
ReplyDeleteContinue being an inspiration to all us!
What a landmark! I have to say the outfit may be the same but you look even better. Are you exercising more?
ReplyDeletePlease keep inspiring me.
Congratulations! Here's to the next 2 years.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the blogoversary greetings!
ReplyDelete~corey: we painted the room as well, but that's probably very hard to tell with my close cropping of the photos.
kiran: I messed around with google reader for 30 minutes trying to figure the "show details" out, but am still stumped. Hmmm....
carol: I'll keep that in mind. I'll admit, I AM tiring of this outfit.
workthatwardrobe: I've returned to swimming and dancing, which shapes me a bit differently than my old routines. And, I grew boobs this year. Who knew?!
congrats kasmira and happy blogoversary. you've been an inspiration to many. here's to more years to come :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 2nd blogaversary - you are indeed an inspiration. Looking forward to year 3.
ReplyDeletecongratulations! i can't wait to see what you will show us this year! blessings! =)
