Out of gastronomical curiosity, I ate a Hot Brown once. It was disgusting.
This was actually my second outfit of the day. I wore the first to walk to the polling place and vote this morning. I got there at 6:05 (polls opened at 6:30) and found at least 50 people in line ahead of me. And, wouldn’t you know it, most of them were from my precinct (there are four served by the location), so I had the longest line to wait in once we got inside. Of course, it was still worth the wait!
Don’t judge my outfit too harshly…it was at least a third of a mile walk to and from the polling location, and a chilly wait once I got there!
Kudos to you for voting! I like this outfit... The brown with the yellow shoes go together great!
ReplyDeleteI am inspired by your blog! I have been putting together my outfits on Sundays, and trying to incorporate some of my existing clothes in different combination - inspired by you!
I look at yours (and others) blogs, and say "Hey, I have skirt kinda like that" ... and "I have a top similar to that too..." and I try putting them together, in a way that I never thought about before - and voila! A "NEW" outfit! (or at least it feels that way!) And it's cheaper than buying new clothes!
My next task - Goodwill! :-)
Great outfit! I like that you are including some of your more casual outfits lately.
ReplyDeleteI love love this look!! I also love that my state is all absentee ballot. No waiting in lines! =)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite Kasmira outfits yet! I love the mix of neutrals--I woudldn't think to do that, but it looks fantastic. That skirt inspired me last time you wore it, too, and I thrifted a similar shaped one in a light herringbone. From Ann Taylor originally, I think. I'm considering adding lace to the bottom--I love how yours looks.
ReplyDeleteLoving the shoes!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you wear the brooch with the jacket. Hope today brings everything you wish for.
ReplyDeletehey, I like your voting ensemble! Cozy and cutesey. :)
ReplyDeletevery nice!!
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of neutrals and the skirt is very lovely!!
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt and those shoes!
ReplyDeleteEven though I can't vote (too young) your voting outfit seems to be something I would wear to vote - function over fashion but with lovely colors! I really like your brown outfit. The sandwich seems disgusting.
ReplyDeleteI am in love, love, love with your blog!!! How fabulous and unique -- not to mention lovely :)
ReplyDeleteBrown & gray are one of my FAVE color combos -- there's something so easily elegant about it, no matter what the clothing item, you know?
I'll be coming back for more of your blog!
That blazer is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe Hot Brown sounds good to me. Turkey and bacon on toast with cheese sauce? I guess it could be highly variable depending on the quality of the turkey and the sauce.
Love the choice of shoes! Great blazer.
ReplyDeletegreat skirt! I love your playful style! I found you through my friend Tasha and her blog, I have been a fan for a while but felt a bit voyueristic without leaving comments. I have two cats and feel cat ladyish as well. great shoes and boots btw!! cheers.
ReplyDeleteLove the brown outfit. It looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the skirt love! I had stopped wearing it for awhile because I thought it was too long, but I guess I should bring it out to play more often!
ReplyDeleteLove this combo!
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your site for awhile now, I just love the way you put outfits together! You've inspired me to start putting more thought into my outfits. Recently, I started my own little blog about what I'm wearing as I search for my own personal style. Even though I haven't given the addy to anyone, it sure makes me think more about what I'm wearing!
This outfit is amazing, I love it! I am in love with the skirt especially!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this look! Very flattering.
