Nope, it isn’t a special guest…it’s me with a haircut and new color. It took my stylist two and a half hours, but she pulled all the red out and then cut my hair entirely with a razor. If you like it, ask for Heather at Taylor Jameson.
Wow, what a dramatic change! I'm so used to your luscious red locks, but this looks great too! I always think if I move away from all my friends I'll be brave enough to go blonde!! Good for you, I'm looking forward to seeing how the change affects your wardrobe choices. All those warm rusty colours that matched your hair.. how will they look now?
OMG! Wow, so different! You rock any style but I bet it feels weird with short hair! Every time I cut my hair short I keep having to touch it cause it feels so different.
Oh, my gosh. You look so different. Wow. You're very brave. I've been considering getting a very short coif like that for a while now, but I'm so afraid of cutting it all off. Kudos to your for the chutzpah.
Well, it'll be fun to see how you coordinate new looks with your new hair.
Wow, what a big change! Congrats to you for having the guts to do it. Didn't you say once that blonde is your natural hair color? What did your husband think of the change?
Wow, that's bold! :) I love your headband! I was actually about to make one myself with a feather.. thing? I got at rban Outfitters. Did you use just glue to attach?
Fantastic hair! You are going to shock a bunch of people when they see you!
I love the blonde on you - it really suits you. As I've been growing out my own pixie cut for a year now, I can appreciate how much fun it is to go short.
Cool! You rock short hair too. Kudos to you for being brave enough to leave the fate of your hair in your stylist's hands. Have you been thinking about making this change for sometime now? And what does your husband says?
Btw I love today's look. The vintage dress, the denim jacket, the feather headband...You look awesome!
Hi Kasmira...i go through your blog regularly, but has never left you a comment...today i'm moved to...i love your style, your photographs, your backyard, your cycle n' i loved your hair color :( Don’t get me wrong….i love the new hairdo..... i like the color too... but i miss the vibrancy i always associate with you n’ your pics. I guess I’m just taking time to get used to the new you…. i'm signing off as a die hard fan looking forward to be proven wrong (about the vibrancy part)...
CUTE hair, just lost 11 inches of hair myself, but you beat me on WOW factor. The color looks great, love the fun style, it is precious with your headband. Can't wait to see how this influences your already great outfit posts. Keep inspiring us!
And I also think you really could make it very edgy by making it more textured and spikey -- of course, along with some edgy clothing choices that I know you can pull off!
The new hair color is nice. However, I think you should somewhat lighten your eyebrows as well, so it looks more natural. The eyebrows should still stay a tone darker than your hair color, but the whole thing would look better if your brows were lighter than now.
Wow - it's so different. I think I kind of miss the red - but it is cute. So now you can have lots of fun with hair accessories that will pop extra now.

ReplyDeleteA big shift for you...based on your last several months of photos, it's one I sense is quite symbolic.
ReplyDeleteIf so, wishing you the best. [If not and you were just bored with your long red hair, still wishing you the best!]
Brave girl, looking great!! like your shoes too.
