Stacy London always inspires me to wear red and purple- but I just haven't figured out the right combo yet. Yours is great! LOVE that red bag. It's fabulous, I am a purse collector and I haven't seen one like that! I wonder what brand it is....
How on EARTH do you make that work so well? I am envious :D I tried purple scoop neck knit and red scarf myself yesterday and it just didn't work for me. *le sigh* Must be that stunning icy blonde hair ... wow ... TY for an inspiring blog though, found it about two weeks ago and it's spurred me to try some much more adventurous looks. And a belated try at the $20 challenge which proved to be tons of fun!
I think this combination works better...maybe because I'm less than crazy about patterned tights. I do love purple and red though, which are the main colors in my living room.
I think they look great together! I like this better than your previous attempt because of the way the colors are paired together- a whole lot of red with a purple backdrop, and the colors are actually layered as opposed to both just being there.
Oooh, this one is superb! I think it helps to have red be a "smaller" part of the outfit via accessories so it doesn't look quite as color-blocky. And frankly - as much as I hate to say "redheads shouldn't wear X color" - I do like this combination better on you as a blonde.
Your hair looks so cute and rocker-ish. I love it!
Absolutely love the bag and belt. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteVery successful, I'd say! You definitely don't look like the Red Hat Society. You look gorgeous!
