I’ve got seasonal schizophrenia. First, I’m
hoping that summer will last just a little longer and then I’m pulling out my wool skirts and hoping for cool temperatures.
Blouse, Forever 21. Skirt, Parsons Place Ltd (thrifted and shortened). Belt, The Limited (thrifted). Ring, Rafia & Bossa. Pumps, Bitten. Bag, Payless.
You need to go to NY Fashion Week and show them how to work it!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Is this a new top and skirt? I don't recognize them at all.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya. I have been dragging out my boots and tights already. Take that, summer!
I love this skirt. Did you shorten it yourself? And the blouse is great. What a good combo. I am also feeling the urge to keep summer and wear my fall stuff. I even wore white today... I am a rebel;)
ReplyDeleteI love the details on the blouse. Great outfit.
ReplyDeleteI will never look at your ring the same since you pointed it out... lol!
ReplyDeleteSheila - the top is not new. I bought it around Feb 08. (And it was one of the items in my capsule wardrobe: http://whatiwore2day.blogspot.com/search/label/wardrobe%20capsule%20challenge.) I don't wear it much in the summer because the color seems more appropriate to cool weather looks.
ReplyDeleteI thrifted the skirt late in winter 09 - so I didn't get to wear it much before the warm weather set in. I'll be wearing it often this winter!
fromsneakerstostilletos - yup, I shortened it myself. This hemming project came out really good.
I feel the same way - can't decide if I want more summer or to move on to fall! That skirt is tops ... I've been searching for circle skirts for months and love the flare on that one.
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty..
ReplyDeleteThis outfit suits you wonderfully, although I like it better when you wear brights :)
I can see me wearing this....
I love this belt.

That's a beautiful plaid skirt. The belt and the ring completed the whole look.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so awesome that I've just linked with you. :)
That belt is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a PRETTY look!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this, Kasmira! I love the structure of the top and the mixing of "patterns" if you will, but the colors come through together so well! LOVE IT! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sucker for fall greens and wool diamond skirts. Love the gold details!
