Sweater, vintage. Another sweater (underneath), Ann Taylor Loft. Skirt, Talbot’s (thrifted). Tights, Target. Peeptoes, BCBGeneration. Earrings, Ali’s Boutique. Bag, Franco Sarto.
I paired my old lady sweater with my old lady skirt and my old lady bag. My tights and shoes, though, are a nod to my (fictional) burlesque youth in Gay Paree.
you always have the cutest tights. I have stocking envy! I wish I could find that kind of selection here (small town).
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing "old lady" about that outfit. I'm too scared to try a fur sweater, but it looks GREAT on you!
ReplyDeleteMy gosh, I haven't thought about "The Aristocats" in AGES! You are channeling all of the best things about Madame Adelaide, here, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of my favorite Disney movies! I have it on VHS...and watched it just the other night with my kiddos. We had a blast singing all the songs from memory.
ReplyDelete~Everybody wants to be a cat, hallelujah!~
I love that movie - why are cats always the villains in movies nowadays??
ReplyDeleteI like that you created your whole character story for this outfit. Very cool.
Lovely !!!!!!!!! you look SO SHARP !

ReplyDeleteooh, this is definitely a fancy aristocrat look! but with a fun modern twist of course. i am loving the gold-tone with red and the fur. great outfit. ~joelle
ReplyDeleteAs the movie tells us, 'everybody wants to be a cat!' And you are one cool cat in that outfit. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteAmidala's favorite movie right now is The Aristocats. We literally watch it 3 times a day. She now calls me "momma-cat" and pretends to be Marie.
ReplyDeletelove the shoes and collar! my first cat was named Toulouse after a kitty from the Aristocats! Although, he was a she!
ReplyDeleteParis, cats, dressed to the nines... sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is great. I love the sophisticated old-school look, with a modern fun twist from the tights and shoes.
