I’ve had a few questions, and I’ve made a few answers, regarding how I store and organize my clothing and accessories. However, photographs don’t give one a complete sense of space and I’ve made updates since the last time I posted photos of my closet. Instead of showing you more still photos, I’d like to take you on a virtual, video tour of my closet (aka my guest* room).
I only keep my workwear in this room. The casual clothing is upstairs, in my actual bedroom closet, and my coats and casual shoes are in a closet by the front door.
Thanks to the Cheap Chick for pointing me towards Windows Movie Maker to edit my video. It turns out that I had it on my computer all along!
*When actual guests stay over, I have to shift things around to make room for their clothing. Thankfully, I rarely have overnight visitors.

I love the way you have organized your closetspace, so creative! I'm starting to ponder where one might find a pair of antlers.. ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about putting up my necklaces on the back of my closet door, but they're from IKEA and I'm not sure if it could damage the door...
After watching your video I'm really inspired to organazie my closet again!
Wow! You are so organized I am in awe. Do you have alot of cross over from work to play and vice vesra?
ReplyDeleteI'd watch those cute lil kittens though, my perpetual kitten is grey just like them and is a jewelry thief. I've totally caught him a few times.
ps. Any more kitten vids?
KITTIES!
ReplyDeleteYou are even cooler than I thought you'd be in "real life". Your voice is NOTHING like I thought it would be.
There are some genius ideas there I could totally do in my room.........ANTLERS OMG! Now I'm going to be on the hunt for antlers.
What fun! Thanks for the lovely tour.
ReplyDeleteI like your video! You have a very nice voice and the video shows more of your fun personality!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to stay organized creatively! I love how everything's still neat but "out" so you have a clear view of what you've got - I'm moving shortly so I'll need to all that in mind when organizing my new closet. Thanks for the tour!
ReplyDeleteKudos for being so organized. Love the glass hand and, especially, the feline accessories!
ReplyDeleteI want a glass hand!
ReplyDeleteA very professional looking and sounding tour, Kasmira! Kudos! I love how you have organized it all.
Fabulous! I loved watching you in action with your kittens. The brooches pinned to the tie made my toes tingle. Neat, small and organized. When do get to see the rest?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing- so fun! I have serious envy of your belt and necklace stash! Very organized, too!
ReplyDeleteOh hey! You're welcome, and I'm glad you had the program. Did you like it? Was it easy to use? But more importantly, yay FREE STUFF! And yay - great video :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...you are so cute!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see some video on here.
ReplyDeleteYour voic is so pretty! I love! And of course, you are a master of organization.
ReplyDeleteI always wondered how you organised your kittens. ;) *giggle*
ReplyDeleteLove the video. :D
Thanks Kasmira. Wondered where you put all that stuff! Knew you were a whiz at pulling outfits together, but now am even more amazed that you can pull together 1,000 work outfits from those two closets. Inspires me even more to mix and wear things in a way I've never tried before. Cute kitties, cute you!Nice camera job by your mystery photo man, I mean person.
ReplyDeleteI think everything looks better with a kitten. I think you should work a kitten into your clothing. :) Thanks for this blog...I've been inspired to try and work up the courage to be a little more ballsy. Of course, I probably have a fraction of the clothes you have!
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny to hear the voices of people I follow on the internet! Your closets look great! I just moved and am in the process of figuring out how to organize my closets and drawers. Such a daunting task!
ReplyDeleteVery fun to watch - thanks for sharing! I love using the tie to showcase your broaches, and the way you organize your shoes! Like another commenter, I'll be moving soon, so I will have to think about some of these things!
ReplyDeletevery clever use of space! and it was so fun to hear your voice and see your personality!
ReplyDeleteSuper video !
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing... honestly you have got to have the best memory ever... yo have so many things in so many places !
I love this post. The kittens had me crackin' up with their random places.
ReplyDeleteI've always thought that your way of storing your shoes was a great idea, except my room is TINY. :-)
I don't even use the original sliding door for my closet because they are annoying. Instead I took it down and I use a shower curtain. :-)
I must say, this was the first video blog that I've actually enjoyed. :-)
Thank you for giving me an idea for what to do with the damn antlers my husband insists on keeping. Oh hell yes.
ReplyDeleteC - I have a little crossover between the closets but not much. Most of my casual stuff is inappropriate for work and I don't want to chance getting dirt, kitten poo, cooking messes, etc on my work wear.
ReplyDeleteThis is sick...but here is a video of the kittens suckling on Sammy's nipples. (He's a boy.)

Angie of YouLookFab - the rest is boring and in a very dark closet. But I have plans to make some other videos.
The Cheap Chick - the program was super easy to use. It was very intuitive and pretty fast.
Nice tour! I agree that the video shows your fun side.
ReplyDeleteI love the shoe organization. I put miniature polaroid pictures (from my Polaroid i-Zone) of my shoes on the boxes. The film has a sticky on the back so I just stick them to the outside of the box. Makes it a lot easier to identify my shoes in a hurry.
Nice tour! You are very graceful in motion! One can see your dance/theatre background.
