Last March, inspired by an InStyle feature, I experimented with combining a few pastels: lavender, blush, peach, and sky. They were paired with shades of gray. I enjoyed the results. I like pale colors well enough, but I don’t often think to wear them with one another. Will you be wearing pastels this spring?
Oddly enough, I started planning an outfit heavily featuring pastels last night!
ReplyDeleteCute outfit, BTW. I love the shoes.
Mmmmmmmm peep toes.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about pastels, because I'm pale and blonde naturally but I'm definitely ready for light neutrals!!
This is one of my favorite outfits yet! I love the detail on the neckline of the sweater. I've been wearing a lot of pastels on my nails, but not so much on the clothing front...
ReplyDeleteWell...yes, and no. I have a pale yellow dress, and a few peachy-coloured things, but mostly I'll be sticking to my brights. I find pastels are just too washed out on me.
ReplyDeleteSomething about the grey legs and turquoise shoes really rocks for me.
Shoe love! You're hair looks cute today
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a pastel kinda gal, even for spring. I do have a few pieces I look forward to wearing, but for spring/summer I'm ready for brights!
I love those shoes!
ReplyDeleteI have been planning an outfit to feature my new lavender Fluevog Bellevues. I'm just waiting for the walks not to be covered in snow, ice, and salty sludge to debut them.
This is my favorite remix of that dress!
ReplyDeleteI'd kill for that jumper. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look soo pretty in this outfit.
ReplyDeleteI love how much use you get out of this dress!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely down with turquoise for the new season since I already have some pieces. Probably the pinks and lavender too.
most pastels wash me out and look a bit too "little girl" on me, so i think its a trend that will likely pass by unnoticed by me. i may have a few things i can pull out to wear, but for the most part, not my thing...
ReplyDeleteI generally look a mess in pastels, so I'll probably avoid them. Except, perhaps, in floral prints!
ReplyDeleteI like the all pastel look. It seems like a safer way for me to mix colors.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how great it will look with my pale skin though and I don't like wearing a lot of make-up. Still I'm planning a few outfits with the pale mix in mind.
great shoes! I will not be wearing any pastels this spring, as my wardrobe is fairly dark. The lightest I go usually is bright fuscia or red! keep it up! love the octo-bling!
ReplyDeleteI love the pearl Peter Pan collar on your sweater! So cute! Great peep-toes, too, lady!
ReplyDeleteI love pastels! especially pastel nail polish, I have a sky blue called Blue Me Away, I love it -Adeline

So many of my favorite things paired together! Love it~
ReplyDeleteYou started me wearing Grey tights mine never look as good on me as you, must be how you use them with other shade that work for you.
ReplyDeleteI will not be wearing pastels, at least not up around my face, because my pale skin gets completely washed out. I do, however, love your grey tights and turquoise heels combo! The shoes really pop!
