Cool Water

We seem to have leapt into summer. It’s suddenly hot and humid. I dressed in watery tones to keep myself mentally cool.

Sweater, Moda International. Dress, vintage, swapped, and shortened. Belt, Cappel’s. Shoes, Colin Stuart. Bag, No Boundaries. Bracelets, Phai’s House of Jade. Earrings, Girlshop.

I’m wearing my shelly pearl bracelets to complete the under-the-sea theme.

  1. I love the cool marine colours. You look like Ms. Pilsbury on "Glee" (that's a compliment).

  3. Scarey: pre your column, at favorite consignment shop, found cool water multitonal summer top and a solid color camisole for under layer. I'm channelling your inspiration & loving it.

  9. Perfect for summer! I love how the Japanese Maple (?) tree in the last picture really compliments the outfit and your "return to red" !
And your accessories are to die for!!!

  10. Love this outfit. You look great in a more conservative palette (i.e., not too many clashy patterns). The green/blue/grey also looks great on you as a redhead!

  12. This is one of my favorite outfits of yours. Love. Really, really love the shoes and the bag. Must. Find. (And FYI - after seeing your adorable Two Lips shoes in purple and black, I went looking for them. I now own those shoes in turquoise and white!)
