The Vivid and More Vivid settings result in striking colors, but are a bit harsh for skin and hair tones. I had the camera settings adjusted for these shots (taken yesterday). . .
and forgot to reset them.
What a beautiful picture of you, and I love your headband. Everything looks lush!
ReplyDeleteCool headband. Your weather must be cooler too!(than here in SC)
ReplyDeleteI can see why you had it on More Vivid for those bottom shots - glorious colours!
ReplyDeleteLove all the mixes of animals.
I love the headband, especially with the red belt.
ReplyDeleteOn a related note, does anyone else find that headbands give them headaches, and if so, have a remedy to combat this? There's hardly an accessory I love more, but I find I can't wear a headband for more than three hours or so without discomfort. (I've tried all sorts of different kinds).

Yes, you look a little gray but lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is perfect, the colors, the patterns... and you are wearing my favorite bag of yours.
Love the dress. I like pairing blacks and grays (can't tell the exact color of the spots) with redish browns. Much softer than pairing with a black belt and it adds much more interest.
ReplyDeletecool feather hair band thing. it seems very 30s.
ReplyDelete(yesterday, did you see the girl "J" with the peacock feather earrings? they were much cooler than they sound.)
Love your headband. You look glamourous and it brings out the colour of your hair. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat headband is beautiful!
ReplyDelete"More vivid" as a camera setting cracks me up for some reason.
ReplyDeleteThe headband is awesome!
ReplyDeletenannykim - it's horribly hot and humid here...but it's freezing in the office. I was sweating while taking these pictures outside at 6:30 a.m.
ReplyDeleteEmily - I've found it just depends on the headband. This one actually DID give me a headache. I had to give myself "breaks" from it during the day.
...bill - I don't know who the girl "J" is, but she sounds very mysterious!
Your headband is so cute, I've been really wanting one like that for awhile now!
ReplyDelete(No mystery, but mystery is always fun. I just met her that day. So it seemed weird somehow to use her name online... She had earrings that were the tips of peacock feathers--which sounds awful, but wasn't. A few of us shared a table with her and her friend during brunch at forkheartknife--but we all spent the whole time talking about her friend's super cool, blue glasses. forkheartknife is the best, btw. You have to go sometime!)
