You gave some great advice on salvaging this
troublesome jacket. I tried it. I hacked the sleeves off to make a vest and even wore it with a belt for half the day. But I still hated the way it looked every time I looked in the mirror. It’s time for it to go.
Jacket, Merona. Dress, London Times (thrifted). Boots, Dan Post. Earrings, No Boundaries. Bag, Caprice (vintage and thrifted).
I bet I won't even miss it.
I think its really cute.....I love the little vest, but I know how it feels wearing something you arent too thrilled with......at least you tried!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet you won't, either! But you can sure say you did your darnedest.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with those boots.
Have a great weekend!
At least you gave it a good try. Sometimes you outgrow pieces. I'm still in love with that dress. The print is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog! If you are ever in Louisville, I'd love to photograph you. I enjoy photographing people with exciting, different clothes. I'd do it for free, just for the fun of it. :)

It's cute, but if you're not confident in it that's all that matters!!
ReplyDeleteI like it but agree with other people - there's nothing worse than wearing something you don't think suits you.
ReplyDeleteLoving your dress.
my word, I really dislike cowboy boots but you have managed to make them look so chic here. How pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with it!!
