Dark Chocolate

I wasn’t always a dark chocolate fan. I think the less sweet treat is something you have to grow to appreciate, like coffee and red wine. Funny that it pairs so well with both.

Dress, Eddie Bauer (thrifted). Belt, thrifted. Tights, Apostrophe. Boots, Dan Post. Cuff, Epcot Canada. Ring, Jan Michaels San Francisco. Bag, Mossimo. Coat (below), Laundry by Shelli Segal.

I suppose a traditional Easter Sunday outfit would feature pastels, ruffles, and bows. Instead, I chose a pared down silhouette in brown and black, to match my favorite Easter treats: dark chocolate covered Peeps, Papa’s eggs with any filling and a dark chocolate shell, and solid, dark chocolate bunnies.

  4. I ate the ears, so far. Maybe I'll nibble the feet next.

  5. My kind of girl, they should just sell Bunny Ears (like the muffin tops;)........
I did "Post concert, too hoarse to speak, concert Tee" look today, with my 'wrist-band' drunkards bangle still attached and smeared make-up.

  8. While I love the outfit those pictures of you holding your chocolate bunny had me dying of laughter. I think it was because I was not expecting that at all.

  11. Love your style. I live in a very conservative city when it comes to dressing up. My motto has always been...when people ask what are you dressed for...I say Just life!. I agree the world is our stage.

  15. Cute outfit!

I was the same way - I used to be a big milk chocolate fan, but now it's too sweet for me. I guess my taste buds have grown too :D
