My unusual dress is rarely remarked upon at the workplace. Today, though, I was told that I’m always dressed “colorfully.” I suppose I do stand out in a sea of neutrals.
Dress, Tucker for Target. Vest, New York & Company. Shoes, Gianni Bini (gift). Necklace, World Market. Bracelets, Claire’s. Sunnies, Betsey Johnson.
I just read that you are here in ATL!! I have been checking out your blog for about two years. Love it! I come here for inspiration and courage to mix and match while looking FAB. Maybe I'll run into you...fingers crossed. Have fun in my hometown and stay funky!
Your colorful style is one reason I read your blog. You've inspired me to break out of my neutral cocoon. You always dress in such a fun, refreshing way.
I found out this week that i am known at work by - The girl who dresses funny - I will take it as a compliment in this sea of neutrals - I put smiles on faces!
Lovely! I too am a colorful dresser, at work and everywhere else. Sometimes I stop and think, who else would wear this to work?! (Not that this ever stops me :) But it's comforting to know that there are others out there doing the same. It's very inspiring.
P.S. I noticed your Tucker from Target dress right away. Love the warm tones!
I just got home from Paris and I was very surprised that Parisian women don't dress more colourfully. I wore a bright multicoloured dress one day and got a lot of strange looks. Guess I looked like a tourist.
Such fun and wonderful colors. I adore your dress too!
ReplyDeletexoxo mama wolfs.
I really love the white waistcoat - it is a fantastic contrast. Colour is great - I am too guilty of wearing too much denim and black

ReplyDeleteLove the color with the white vest - you look very cool, and I heard it is screaming hot in ATL. Your sunnies are fab too.
ReplyDeleteI really like this dress every time I see it, and I love the colour of that green necklace.
ReplyDeleteThe vest is awesome, as are the shoes.
ReplyDeleteIt's always interesting when you're in a new group of people - my new job has prompted a lot of "colourful" comments as well.

Hooray for dressing colorfully! For summer, especially. Hope you're enjoying your time here in the ATL.

"You dress so colorfully" may be southern for "Poor thing". Love the shoes. Have you tried the grits?
