We were in NYC for a little over two days. Friday night, we got ramen and checked out Times Square. Saturday was almost entirely taken up by the party on Long Island. For our Sunday activities we had to make some tough choices. We settled on the Brooklyn Flea, a ride on the East River Ferry, and the matinee performance of Anything Goes.

ReplyDeleteThe scorpion tattoo is totally fake.
ReplyDeleteHave you been to the City Flea?! Central and Vine. Good times...
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh! I've been watching re-runs of Sex and the City this past week and you so remind me of Carrie, one of my style icons! Though, I suppose it's really Betsy Johnson ;)
ReplyDeleteBoth dresses are adorable and you can rock a fedora!
Thanks for the mention re: thrift stores ( I do hit Goodwill every Friday or Saturday - Friday is also half-price clothing and now every other Friday is 1/2/ off everything! Most of my thrifties do come from there, though I do like the St. Vincent DePaul as well. ( I kinda like a smaller shop )
These photos are absolutely gorgeous!
OooH and if u get a chance, Target on line had boot/booties for under 13.00 right now!
I ordered 5 pair! Free shipping over 50 bucks, too!

...bill - I haven't been to Cincinnati's City Flea, yet. But I hope to make it there, soon!
ReplyDeleteReva - going to check out that Target clearance ASAP!
Love the ensemble, and how was Anything Goes?!? I am going to New York soon and thought that show looked quite promising :)
ReplyDeleteLisa - I really enjoyed Anything Goes. It was funny, although the story doesn't make a lot of sense. The real highlights are the songs, dancing (oh, the tapping!), and the costumes. You can't miss Sutton Foster!
ReplyDeleteyeah, you've got to go! and Streetpops are always there. They're the best.
ReplyDeleteLove what you did with this dress! I went back and forth on this so many times...but decided on the solid olive.
