Today, I’m glad that skin is waterproof. I wore galoshes and a rain coat, and carried an umbrella, but my legs still got wet. However, I prefer wet skin to wet fabric. It dries more quickly.
Shirt, Christopher & Banks (thrifted). Skirt, Herman Geist (thrifted and shortened). Everything else, thrifted and unlabeled.
Rose - I've shortened everything myself, except for a pair of jeans and my Trashy Diva dress. Before my sewing machine broke, I used it for the stitching. Now, I do a blind hem stitch by hand. It takes a while (especially with a full skirt), but I just watch trashy tv while I do it.
Something appropriate about wearing seahorses in the rain....nice.
ReplyDeleteI love the little seahorses! What a cute detail.
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern mix!
ReplyDeleteReally love the skirt! Do you shorten your own things, Kasmira, or do you take them to a tailor?
ReplyDeleteAw, that seahorse belt is so cute! Great pattern mixing here too.
