One of my favorite layering tricks is a button-front shirt under a dress. I do this enough to warrant an entire post on the topic (coming soon-ish). It’s a great way to extend the styling options of a frock.
Dress, London Times. Shirt, FY2 (thrifted). Tights, We Love Colors. Boots, Miz Mooz. Earrings, Urban Outfitters. Belt, Deena & Ozzy.
This dress is beautiful! I love that color! I wore a similar color earlier this week - it's just so pretty! And how you paired it with those tights - nice... A collared shirt with a dress is a good idea. Unfortunately, I own like 2 collared shirts. (I hate ironing, but I think I need to learn to embrace it now!)
Most of my collared shirts are no-iron! This one is silk, so as long as I carefully hang it to dry, it does not wrinkle. Most of my others are a poly/cotton blend that come out of the dryer wrinkle-free.
