Covered in Bliss

Every time I wear multiple velvet pieces, I think of the line from Feed Me (Little Shop of Horrors): Wrapped in velvet, covered in glitz. Except, I always thought the line ended with “covered in bliss.” Because neck to knee velvet (or velveteen) is, indeed, blissful.


Jacket, BSB Jeans (thrifted). Dress, New York & Co (shortened). Tights, We Love Colors. Boots, Nine West. Bag, Fossil. Earrings, Urban Outfitters.

Yeah, I realize that “bliss” doesn’t rhyme with “Ritz” (at the end of the preceding line), but my misheard lyrics don’t follow any sort of logic.
