Carpenter's Dream

As a small-chested woman, I’m ill at ease in outfits that create an illusion of a full bosom. I just don’t know what to do with that extra volume.

Blouse, I Heart Ronson. Vest (below), Urban Vibe. Skirt, Jack BB Dakota. Shoes, Aerosoles. Earrings, Pangaea. Necklace, Phai’s House of Jade. Cuff and belt, thrifted.

So I put a vest over it.

  1. LOL, I always thought it was a "pirate's dream". I hadn't heard about the carpenter.
Anyway, being similarly un-endowed I appreciate the idea of adding a vest. It's such a pretty blouse.

  4. Ah, I get it. The 'pirate's dream' is a sunken chest. Must be a regional thing.
I decided to wear a pretty top today that I don't quite fill out. So, I reached for a trusty vest. I'm really glad you shared this idea.
