And don’t tell me to “fix it, dear Henry.” It’s beyond hope! The silk knit has laddered from the hole and down the inside of the sleeve. Boo.
I would go find another top - consignment, thrift or new (if need be) and replace it. I have that rule in my 30 for 30 (although of course, I still have my full closet to choose from): if an item gets damaged, it can be replaced.
ReplyDeleteI really like this outfit - the skirt is lovely.
I can't argue with being encouraged to shop! There are a bunch of great thrift stores close to my new house...one within walking distance! Oh, the temptation!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit. I say replace at the thrift store. Love the shoes, I have the brown and gold version. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are fierce. I really love this color combination. I'm with Sheila, replace!
ReplyDeleteI love that scarf. And I would say replace the top - even if it with another item from your closet. I had to replace a couple of items when I did the 30 x 30 last year. A holey tee and a pair of shorts that just got too big due to weight loss.
ReplyDeleteNew top! We need to see what this city has to offer for thrift stores! I bet they are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf :)
I love that you've been busting out those purple 2lips spectators again. They've been on my amazon wishlist as unavailable for a couple years but I refuse to delete them. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with the damaged=replaced rule. It doesn't count at all!
ReplyDeleteI so wanted to see a picture of you holding your arm up to show off the hole. :o) I'm guessing you spent the day with your arm firmly pinned to your side?
ReplyDeleteWell...I DID order some new boots for my birthday. Maybe I'll replace the sweater with the boots in my capsule. After all, I swapped out the green blogoversary jacket for another pair of boots. Might as well start a trend. Boots on the bottom, cold on top!
ReplyDeleteI lifted it once, thought "Doh!" and put it down.
