Skywalk
I love the Minneapolis skywalk system. I forgot to bring an umbrella, but stayed dry on my two block walk from hotel to conference room by taking the second floor skywalks between buildings (and over streets).

Minneapolis is great! If you have a chance, check out Hell's Kitchen for dinner and the art museums (Minneapolis Institute of Art & the Walker) in your off time.
