Kasmira,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for over a year, not in a stalker kind of way but in a appreciative kind of way. I am way older than you so I could not wear many of the looks you pull off. I think that you are one of the most creative stylist present on the fashion blogs. I say this not to massage your ego but as a mere fact. Your ability to mix and match in a creative way while remaining tasteful is very unique. What I like most is that you are NOT wearing those expensive clothes the other bloggers have donated to them. I can't imagine a 20 something girl who works for Urban Outfitters being able to buy a 2,000. purse from Gucci... so those items are probably donated/borrowed for the shots.
The other thing I like is your ability to mix the same clothing over time. Other bloggers must have clothing storage like an eighteen Wheeler parked in their driveways.
You have demonstrated that most people can have a multitude of looks with the same clothes revisited over and over again. I also like all of the fun jewelery belts and purses that you add to the mix. The move to Sacramento seems to have been good for you and Beefy which I also love hearing about. You seem to be such a fine person. Keep up the good work I love keeping up with your blog you are very inspirational for me...
Thanks Adrienne! I appreciate your comments and encouragement. The focus of many style blogs seems to have shifted to new items and trends, so I wonder if people still want to see ways to remix their old stuff. I'm glad that you do!
ReplyDeleteThird time's a charm! Still LOVEING this woolly shirt ;)) and double DITTO to Adrienne's comments...she would know what a Ditto machine is LOL and I do too ;)) when I'm 2nd hand shopping for a fun outfit I ALWAYS ask myself... "What would Kasmira do..." My age and size is almost double yours...50+ 12...so it has it's challenges to look good and age appropriate...but you have always helped me (us) to think outside of the box and try something out of my comfort zone...and it usually works out with a few tweaks!! Happy New Year, dear Kasmira! I look forward to your fun fashions and newsy blogs!
