I don’t spend a lot of time in downtown Sacramento. Most of my “city” customers are in midtown. So it’s rare that I get a chance to park at J and 8th and spend a few hours downtown.
Jacket, INC (consignment). Dress, vintage, thrifted, and shortened. Tights, We Love Colors. Boots, Lauren Ralph Lauren. Sunglasses, Target. Earrings, Ali’s Boutique. Purse, Charming Charlie. Belt, Express.
Technically, I think most of us would consider midtown a subset of downtown. Downtown is, say, the entire grid between 5 and 80 and A and Broadway.
Midtown is more.....amorphous, but most folks agree is the middle area of downtown.........between 15th ish and 28th is and H ish and T ish. Although, I've known folks who've lived here longer than me (my 15 year Sactoversary is this August) to argue about it contentiously. ;)
Suburbanites all consider it all the same. They don't know that we differentiate between downtown and midtown. It's all crazy one way streets and lavender heights to them! Ha!
