Scrap of Silk

I feel like I’m cheating when I wear this dress. I may look clothed, but it feels like I’m wearing nothing at all.


Dress, Banana Republic (consignment). Shoes, Carlos Santana. Sunglasses, Girlprops. Earrings, My Sister’s Closet. Bag, SheBoBo.

    So a better version of The Emperor's New Clothes! And a lovely pattern and fit too.

    Since you used silk in the title, I'm assuming it's silk. Do you wash your silks? I saw a silk shirt the other day, but it said Dry Clean Only, so I hesitated. It didn't fit right anyway, but just wondering for future reference.

    I've hand washed my silks, but prefer to dry clean because the results are so much better!

    It must be kind of weird to wear a dress but don't feel like wearing it!I had the opposite when I was much younger. I thought I wore something when actually my sooo mini dresses qualified for wearing nothing!
