My 40 B4 40 project is nearly over! I have about a week left. I shared some of my lessons learned in my 10th Toastmasters speech. You can read the text at at Abby Lacey (a fellow 40B440er) or watch my delivery below:
Well done, not just on the 40 before 40 itself (turning 40 myself in just over 6 months I am so impressed!), but also on an a great delivery that was full of passion and very motivational!
Wonderful and inspirational speech - great delivery. I wouldn't be surprised if you were asked to do this presentation at other venues. Love the bocce ball story.
It's so crazy to me that you don't like talking to strangers.........I can't fathom putting myself out there like you do on your blog, I feel like that takes a million times more guts than talking to strangers. ;)
Enjoyed your speech!
ReplyDeleteInspiring! Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of saying "YES" and how one adventure leads to another is just something to try.
Well done!
ReplyDeleteLoved this so much!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful speech!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your Toastmasters speech, it was truly inspirational and ovation worthy! I also admire your creative fashion choices!

ReplyDeleteAwesome speech.
Really inspiring. Next bday for me is 42. "42 before 42" not that catchy and "50 before 50" too confronting and far away. What shall I do?
ReplyDeleteI'm still figuring that out myself. I'm thinking of a 50 B4 50 with slightly less ambitious items.
