When I wrote
Layer It, I hadn’t much experience layering dresses. Almost two years later, I’ve tried it a few times and have found that it works best when a short shirtdress is worn over a longer frock.

Beautiful! I have yet to try layering dresses over dresses, but I'll have to go for it soon.
Totally agree that shirtdresses make the best top layer. I typically try to match lengths, but love the look of a longer bottom dress.
I have to say, this is definitely my favorite layered dress look. I love pink, black, and white. :-)
