All-American

Plaid is Scottish, so why does it seem so all-American? I guess that’s Ralph Lauren’s fault.

Sweatshirt, Deb. Turtleneck, Mossimo. Skirt, Rafaella (thrifted). Tights, We Love Colors and Apostrophe. Boots, Matisse. Hat, Nine West. Scarf, gift. Necklaces, Forever 21 and thrift. Bag, Payless.

That’s the Cincinnati skyline behind me. Cincinnati has won the All-America City award three times.

That pattern was my high school uniform kilt. Who knew we were so fashionable.

  2. Love the picture with the skyline in the background! The girls I teach have to wear a maroon plaid every day....I am going to show them the potential it has if they will be creative like you. This is really cute!

Are you standing at the look out point of Immaculata Church in Mt. Adams? That is where I got married...I'd recognize that view anywhere.

  4. Kasmira, your wardrobe is bottomless. Do you sell some of your pieces?

  5. I like the mix of plaids in your outfit. It's bold but not overpowering because the scarf is the second plaid. I need to try it sometime.

  6. Anon - we are actually on the other side of town, in Mt Echo park (Price Hill).

Teodora - I don't sell pieces, but I do swap! In fact, I am going to do a monthly swap updates this year. Look for the first one on 1/20.
