A Mess

I’m a really messy eater. I remember swearing to myself to never eat spaghetti on a date because I’d be sure to get it all over myself. I can’t eat chocolate without dropping bits in my lap (to be discovered after they’ve melted onto my clothes). Beefy has banned me from eating in his new car. (I got ice cream all over the floor mat of his old car.)

Busy prints are the best bet for someone as sloppy as myself. This sweater hides a multitude of food stains.

Sweater, Joseph A (thrifted). Skirt, Talbot’s (thrifted). Shoes, J Crew. Bag, Mossimo. Necklace, Zad. Sunglasses, Xhilaration. Earrings, vintage.

  1. Every time you take pictures at this location I think of Back to the Future Part II. The futuristic clock tower and the pool of water in front of it.

I am also pretty messy like this. Chocolate should always be eaten over a table.

  2. I'm the same! No matter how I try, I'll wind up with food on myself. I really like that sweater, great pattern and colours, and the bag looks like it could fit everything I need and then some.

  3. I've come to the conclusion that even if you only had a garbage bag and duct tape you would still look gorgeous and clever..

  4. Oh, it is so good to know that I am not the only one! My friends have always laughed at me because I am forever dropping something on me.

This is a real happenin' ensemble! EVERY piece is SUPERB (down to the necklace and earrings). The location AND photo scheme WORKS! Bravo, Kasmira...and my hat's off to Beefy Muchacho as well.

  6. I love this color combo and outfit- plus I can totally sympathize with the "prints hide stains" mentality. Now I just have to convince my husband that he needs to wear more print bibs... SHIRTS! I mean SHIRTS!
    *sigh*

Wow, look how long your hair has gotten! It looks great- perfect for fall/winter...
